Auxiliary bishop of Esztergom-Budapest

Motto: Who is like the Lord our God?

Before he was ordained a bishop, he was the archbishop's secretary and Master of Ceremonies at the Diocesan Office of Esztergom-Budapest. Later he worked as Secretary of the Hungarian Catholic Bishops’ Conference and Parish Priest of the Charismatic Personal Parish of the Diocese of Esztergom-Budapest.

He was ordained as bishop of Esztergom-Budapest by Cardinal Peter Erdő on 8 December, 2018.

dr. András Csókay

Neuro-surgent

Head professor of the Neuro-department of Honvéd Hospital, Budapest, one of the founders of the Acting for the Helpless Foundation, and last but not least, he is a father. He has volunteered several medical missions abroad and in Hungary. In the past months he has proved his deep faith in God over and over again in the process of departing the Siamese twins in Bangladesh.

He is a popular speaker, whose teachings are characterized by deep content, and at the same time, an easy to understand, easy to take in and humorous form.

As the leader of Cor et Lumen Christi group in Hungary, he has witnessed many times and he has also been the instrument of God’s healing love, miraculous power and enormous acts. He is an engineer and father to three children.
